Always short of staff but best food in town, highly recommend it. Make sure you make reservations in advance
Recently had the best post-business dinner as Ms Dawn had everything for us pre-arranged. Food was unbelievably delicious, and worth every cent. The shashimi was a delight, and every piece at the well laid out platter was just to die for. And the soup was divine. I don't have vocabulary for the culinary delights we had the pleasure to witness. Most gracious hostess, and most skilled chef. Always a treat to go, but pre-reserving a table a couple of days in advance is a must, in my opinion. Thanks for all the great food, Ms Dawn, see you soon!
We were looking for a place to eat prior to our skitrain back to the Netherlands. Ginko has a very kind hostess that tries to make your evening wonderful. Don't expect the fanciest decor or the fastest service ever (just to manage expectations) but I loved it there, the food is excellent and I can highly recommend!
We had a quick visit to Ginko because we had a short layover at Wörgl for our next train. We wanted take-out because of the time but the super friendly and caring woman made sure we got our food quickly so we could sit down and have enough time to eat in the restaurant. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and it was just as if you’re at home. Will absolutely be back when we’re in the area again. It made our lay-over from just a waiting time to a super pleasant and relaxing experience. Thank you so much!!!
Ginko offers some of the best Asian food in the area. You can choose between Japanese, Korean and Thai dishes. They also sell Asian drinks, like Japenese "Kirin" beer. As already said, the food tastes amazing and also comes in quite large portions, making your money's worth!
Because the restaurant is quite popular, I highly recommend reserving a table beforehand. I also suggest, that you bring some time with you. Due to the fact that there is only one (very nice) waitress, you have to wait quite a bit until you can order/eat/pay. That is also the reason why I can't give 5 stars. But otherwise this place is a must-visit if you are in the area!
Good food, and nice people 🥂
We took a Japanese course for 2 people. Price was a bit too high but for what it's worth portions were BIG. Miso soup was great, salad mediocre, sushi ok at most. Highlight of a day was a duck. Rice given with it a bit dry but duck alone was singlehandedly a one dish that would make me want to come back again. Crunchy sides, delicate, simply delicious.
Service made us feel at home, lady refilled our tea without charging or even us asking for it. Great owner, if sushi was a bit better, it would be an easy 5 star.
I think it was the best service I ever got in a restaurant. The owners are kind friendly people, and the food was amazing!
